REPORT OF WAGON PRODUCTION PERFORMANCE IN THE

 1^st QUARTER OF 2026-27

 

The Company could not produce any wagon in the 1^st Quarter of 2026-27, as the Delivery Period of all the Wagon Orders (6 types) under Railway Board Contracts had expired.

 

The wagon-production in the 1^st Quarter of previous year (2025-26) was 5 (Five) Nos. BOBRNHS, a Hopper-type Wagon for Indian Railways.

 

Delivery period extensions for 3 types of wagons, BVZI, BOBRNHS & BOSTHS wagons, under Railway Board Contracts have recently been received from Indian Railways and your Company is gearing itself up for manufacturing these wagons in its Wagon division.

 

Your Company is also expecting the Delivery Period extensions for other balance 3 types of Wagons, BOXNHL-WCCS, BOXNHL-MBS and  BCNHL,  from the Railway Board. On receipt of the DP Extension, the production of these wagons would also be taken up in the current Financial Year.
