Please find attached the presentation we used for discussion in the steer com last week. The minutes as we have captured are as follows:

1.     Market visit to Nagpur to capture details around pilot design elements and activation feasibility

a.     Meeting the potential distributors for business opportunity

b.     Dealer visits to get market intelligence around POS, promotions

 

2.     Market Activation plan – Pilot Geography (Nagpur)

a.     MTL (Mr Sachin Tewari) to map list of top outlets in Nagpur for route planning of sales team (dependent on pilot market selection)

b.     EY to build a step wise plan for beat execution (details of what to do in a beat)

c.     EY to come up with PoS branding plan as per outlet class with estimate of quantity and cost (dependent on market mapping)

d.     EY to share the contact details of 3rd party manpower agencies with ABC team

e.     EY to share the suggestion on key sizes and patterns with an estimate of approx. volume (dependent on pilot market visit)

f.      EY to develop a price waterfall for key players to enable a better comparative on MOP

 

3.     EY to share list of prioritized domestic markets with high opportunity based on prioritization

 

4.     Deep dive on Egypt Market better (competition intensity, channel structure, quality perception, Market operating price etc.)

a.     ABC (Mr. Singh) to facilitate discussions with retailers and direct importers/distributors based out of Egypt

b.     EY to evaluate possibility of leveraging Africa/Middle East practices to understand 3W tyre market in Egypt & African region

 

5.     EY to explore different models for exporting prevalent amongst competes in the Indian tyre industry

 

6.     EY to do a deeper dive into shortlisted export markets in terms of size, players, domestic competition and action plan (routes to market, suggestions may include purchase of relevant reports)

 

7.     EY to do a competitive benchmarking on raw material usage and cost heads against competes in the Indian tyre Industry for cost optimization and suggest on make vs buy

 

For tomorrow’s project status call, we would like to discuss points 1a, 1b, 2a and 2d particularly.
